Travel to Peru: Our Adventures at Machu Picchu

January 11, 2017

In late 2016 we traveled around the world to visit our suppliers in South America and Asia. This is an annual trek that we make in order to ensure the continued sourcing of our authentic garments direct from our vendors (often mom and pop operations). We posted several posts on this blog during that trip, but of course, with spotty internet connections, we weren't able to show you the entire journey.

Machu Pichu

In this post we will show you some images from the famous 15th-century Inca mountaintop citadel known as Machu Picchu. (No journey to Peru is complete without a hike up to Machu Picchu.) Enjoy!

If Peru captivates you as well, please visit our Pinterest board dedicated to Peru (our images alongside those of other Pinners).

Meeting with Peruvian Supplier of Alpaca Shawls - obviously, this is what brought us to Peru in the first place. Can't blame us for going for a little hike while we were there!
